PUNNY PUNS Beginnings
PUNNY PUNS was founded in late 2020 by Micah Hoxsie, who stepped into one of his callings to help revive family values through faith-based entertainment. The world became so depressing during Covid-19 pandemic that Micah decided to use his creativity to help people and families bounce back.
We believe it’s safe to say that most people have still not fully bounced back from Covid-19 pandemic. There are ongoing struggles—kids and adults constantly on their phones, rising depression, and families feeling more disconnected than ever. We’re living in a world that has forgotten the ways of Jesus.
Most entertainment for children and adults is garbage—yes, we said it.
We’re creating something special that kids and parents can enjoy—learning, laughing, and reconnecting while bringing joy back into family time. PUNNY PUNS cleverly teaches lessons about Jesus while building character through puns, stories, and play. Every book and game is created to inspire laughter with purpose, strengthen faith, and spark meaningful family conversations.
Micah is on a journey to create a 10-book series called Imagination Is My SUPERPOWER, a series that includes books and games, all designed to teach children imagination, character building, finding their purpose, and beyond—all while supporting the mission of PUNNY PUNS Books and Games to revive family values.
